Pigeonnier bedroom

Pigeonnier bedroom

Le Pigeonnier, manor house atmosphere

The Pigeonnier room is located in the Manoir de la Hérissonnière, a rural half-timbered construction dating back to the end of the 15th century. The former dovecote is an almost private wing of the house.

On the first floor, via a staircase with hand-carved ballustres from the Louis XIV period, you reach a landing linking the Pigeonnier bedroom, the bathroom with its trompe l’oeil decorations and the WC, all independent.

The bed is under a hand-wrought iron canopy, the original work of a local blacksmith. Amongst other furniture, a Norman family wardrobe and a small desk with its armchair. In the morning, the sun will shine into the room through the stained glass windows in pastel shades.

As a family you can have a second bedroom en suite: L’Hydrangea.
